Our team showcased Velocert at the EduTech Conference Kočevje, where organisers issued over 130 verifiable digital Proofs of Attendance, highlighting how trusted credentials can make innovation in education both practical and impactful.

On 15 October 2025, our team joined the EduTech Konferenca Kočevje, an event dedicated to bringing innovation closer to Slovenian classrooms. Organized by Podjetniški inkubator Kočevje in . Občina Kočevje, it has become a key meeting point for teachers, school leaders, and education innovators exploring how technology can make learning more effective.

This year’s conference gathered about 150 participants, from educators and universities to ministries, companies, and media, to share experiences and discover practical examples of technology in teaching. The programme also featured good practices from Croatia, Spain, and Denmark, showing how shared ideas can drive better learning for all.

We were glad to take part in this community for the first time and present Velocert, a platform enabling institutions to issue trusted, verifiable credentials with ease. At our booth, visitors explored how to design credential templates and experienced firsthand how seamless issuing and verification can be, resulting in strong interest and valuable feedback from potential partners.

The organisers also used Velocert to issue around 130 digital, legally valid Proof of Attendance certificates to participants. We enjoyed connecting with educators, exchanging ideas, and supporting the growth of digital innovation across Slovenia’s education landscape, while gaining valuable feedback from visitors and potential future partners.
